Munns' Family Reunion

Monte and his family planned an awesome reunion at their home. We started the day with breakfast and a flag ceremony, honoring Grandpa Munns' service in WWII. Then we walked over to Grandma Munns and worked together to pull weeds. Amazing what progress was made with everyone working together. Grandma seemed very grateful. Next came mini-olympics, lunch and the highlight of the day was the giant water slide!

A friend of Uncle Monte's flew over with his crop duster plane and dropped candy down on the lawn!

Pioneer Day Cook-out in the Canyon

On the evening of the 24th of July we headed up to Box Elder canyon and cooked hot dogs and s'mores with the Kotter clan: Dave and Gwen and kids, Mona and Gregg, Ben and Mindi and kids, and Tom and his fiancee, Staci. The food was yummy and the weather felt so nice and cool. It's always fun to see the kids' fascination with the stream and the dirt!

Lagoon!

One of the kids favorite stops every year in Utah is the Lagoon amusement park. They were very disappointed that Drew and Tasha couldn't go, but we lucked out and caught Chandler, Madi and Peyton the day before they headed back to school. Grandma T. came with Campbell and so we kind of had the "big"kids group and the "little" kids. Everyone had a great time and we laughed when they ended the day with 4--count them FOUR--very wet rides on Rattlesnake Rapids!
