Sing-sing-sing

For the second year in a row, Mikelle was selected to sing in the all-district chorus concert. She joined about 80 young ladies from area middle schools and spent 2 days with a guest conductor learning 4 songs. On Saturday, we attended the performance. I was impressed with the mature sound the director got from the singers. Their sound was very rich and round. Our favorite number was a jazz piece arranged by the conductor's husband. It was titled, "I Can't Give You Anything but Love".
